Council volunteers work directly for Council. They give their time and expertise freely to benefit the Knox community.

Our volunteers work in a wide range of roles and programs. You can work in areas like:
- Meals on Wheels
- Gardening, planting and weeding in local parks and reserves
- Helping with school programs, like kindergarten
- Food preparation
- Working with animals
- Helping at Council-run events
- Council advisory committees
- Helping with children's sports
There are many types of opportunities to suit your needs. Only have limited time? Volunteer for a one-off activity. Looking to commit to an ongoing role? There are plenty of areas where you help.
