Knox Sport and Leisure Awards

Nominations for the Knox Sport and Leisure Awards open 9:00 am Friday 17 January 2025.

Please make sure you read the information about each award category and eligibility criteria on the Knox Sport and Leisure Awards web page and Nominations Information Booklet.

Nominations close 12:00 pm Friday 7 March 2025.

Eligibility criteria

The Best Club Initiated Program Award will be awarded to a Knox based sport and leisure club that has implemented an inclusive program that aligns with the goals outlined within the Knox Community and Council Plans.

To be eligible to be nominated for this award, the club must...

  • be based in Knox
  • be incorporated
  • run the program within the last 12 months
  • not have won the Best Club Initiated Program Award in the last three years.

Note: Programs like NAB AFL Auskick, Woolworths Cricket Blast, Soccer Academy's clinics are not eligible and will not be considered for this award.

What do you need?

  • Club incorporation number - Find this number at Consumer Affairs Victoria
  • Details about the program including objectives, dates, benefits and optional supporting information
