Be Immersed in another world

Get a taste of the roaring 20's through themed artwork and original music in the foyer, before being transported by the magic of theatre.
Help give thanks to the 1812 volunteers who have contributed to its artistic endeavours through curated projections.
Enjoy the creative programming in the 1812 foyer an hour either side of performances between Friday 28 June to Sunday 28 July.

Lightbox Productions presents 24 Hour Theatre for one performance only! Experience the outcome of a cast and crew given only 24 hours to prepare an entire theatre production. The journey begins when the cast and crew gather at the venue on Friday evening for the reveal of the production from their Production Manager. With only one day to bring an entire musical to life, Lightbox Production will rehearse, design sets, organise lighting and sound, source props and make costumes in just one day. Visit Miller’s Homestead during Immersed in Music month to view this vibrant and diverse art exhibition inspired by song lyrics. Artworks exhibited are by participants of all age-groups, in the Art of the Lyric challenge, brought to you by Your Library and Knox Council’s Immerse program.

Cartoonist, Sabina Wills

Become a comic-strip creator... at a shopping centre! Your Library’s travelling comic writer, Sabina Wills, will show you how to write your own funny comic strip. Anyone can have a go. You'll even have the chance to be part of a comic book compilation that you can pick up at Your Library. No need to book - just find the pop-up comic making station and start creating!

Knox Factor X Knox City Sings

Knox City Sings Choir

Council invites people who love to sing, aged 16 and above to register their interest in joining a vocal ensemble. The group will be led by local conductor and musician, Marten Visser across three fun, musical evenings of rehearsals and a closed performance. The final performance will see the Knox City Sings vocal ensemble partner with Andrea Cobern of ASV Academy and past Knox Factor winners to perform for one another.

  • Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm: 11 July, 18 July and 25 July

Knox Wind Symphony

Knox Wind Symphony presents Sonic Discoveries - A musical journey exploring unexpected inspirations. Delve into nature, myths, and legends with compositions for wind bands. Led by Danny van Bergen, experience stories told delicately and energetically with pieces from Australian and international composers.

Immerse is a month-long arts event in Knox from 28 June to 28 July 2024.
