- Help us improve local playspaces
We are upgrading some our local playspaces and invite you to provide your feedback on the proposed designs.
Local playspaces are an important part of our community. They provide children with the chance to spend time outdoors, stay active, and socialise in areas close to home or within their neighbourhood.
Our playspaces undergo an annual audit to assess when and where maintenance is needed. This ensures that the equipment remains safe, accessible, and continues to provide excellent play opportunities for children of all ages and abilities.
During 2024 and 2025, the following local playspaces in Knox are being upgraded as part of our annual Capital Works Program:
- Coleman Road Reserve, Wantirna South
- Knox Gardens Reserve, Wantirna South
- Knox Athletics, Knoxfield
- Sovereign Crest Reserve, Rowville
We have developed draft concept designs for each of these playspaces based on current and future need. We are keen to know your thoughts. Have we got them right? Let us know by completing a short survey via our Have your say website. Consultation is open until 17 June 2024.
For more information contact the Strategic Open Space Planning team on 9298 8000 or email [email protected]
