As part of the Boronia Renewal Strategy, the community told us that improving safety and mobility in central Boronia was important. To meet this need we are upgrading the shared path and roads in the main activity centre. These works will be delivered from 2025 – 2027.
About the project
We’re upgrading the bike and walking path from Tormore Reserve, along Genista Avenue and Chandler Road, to Albert Avenue making it easier to access local facilities or enjoy a simple walk or bike ride.
We’re also planting more trees and landscaping along the shared path route and conducting road renewal works on Chandler Road making it safer for cars and public transport.
Construction work will take place in three stages:
Works will begin in January 2025.
