Garden tips for February

For those looking to start or improve their garden, here are some tips to help you get growing this February:

  • Vegetables: Try planting lettuce, spinach, leek, silverbeet, and some Asian greens towards the tail end of the month. Broccoli, leeks, and spring onions could be worth a shot when the nights get cooler.
  • Flowers: Add some colour and movement to your garden with stock, dianthus, viola, pansy, verbena, and ageratum.
  • Herbs: While most herbs are best avoided right now, parsley and watercress are good options if you’re eager to plant.
