Celebrating Biodiversity Month

Spring is finally here! We are celebrating our amazing native animals and plants throughout September, especially the endangered ones.

There are lots of things to do to get involved during Biodiversity Month

  • Environmental friends group working bees
  • Webinar on our waterways
  • Boronia open garden
  • Photographing native animals and plants to upload to iNaturalist
  • Exploring your local bushland reserve.

Get involved with the Biodiversity Blitz

Throughout September, visit your local bushland reserves and take photos of any native animals and plants you spot. Upload to the iNaturalist app to add to the biodiversity count for Knox.

It's easy to join

  • Download the free and easy to use iNaturalist App
  • Join the Knox project online at Knox BioBlitz 2023
