Council is hosting a free online event with Jess Hill as part of this year’s Are You Safe at Home? Day. The webinar will unpack coercive control, understanding that family violence doesn’t always involve physical or sexual abuse.
This session will cover:
- Understanding coercive control.
- How coercive control presents in different environments.
- Strategies for asking someone ‘are you safe at home?’ and what to do if they tell you they aren’t.
- Further resources on how and where to seek support.

This webinar is delivered in partnership with Maroondah City Council and Monash City Council.
