- This Girl Can In Knox
Victorian women of all ages have expressed a major part of not trying new activities or getting involved in sport is a fear of being judged, or not being fit enough to start.
Victoria’s This Girl Can campaign aims to remove this stigma and celebrate and support women to embrace physical activity in a way that suits them.
To celebrate our local female sporting community as part of the ‘This Girl Can’ movement, we will be launching three local exhibitions that feature imagery of our own Knox female community members and athletes.
The exhibitions will be displayed from Monday 12 – Sunday 18 September at Carrington Park Leisure Centre and Knox Leisureworks, as well as Rowville Community Centre from Monday 12 - Friday 16 September.
All are welcomed and encouraged to visit to inspire the next generation of local female sport!
For more information on the exhibitions, contact Dayna Nicholas on [email protected] or 9298 8208.
