- Grants For Local Not-for-profit Organisations Now Open
The annual Community Development Fund (CDF) Program is now open to applications for 2023-24.
The CDF Program offers grants for not-for-profit community groups to help support local activities and events in Knox.
Through the program, we aim to support and fund projects that will benefit Knox residents and encourage community connection and inclusion.
There are three categories of grants available:
-
Category 1 – General projects, programs, activities or equipment – from $3,000 up to $20,000
-
Category 2 – Community Festivals and Events* – up to $15,000
*A community festival or event that is open to the wider community to attend, i.e. membership of any group is not a condition of entry. The event usually attracts over 200 people and is fully or partially held outdoors.
-
Category 3 – Community Group Functions – up to $5,000
Grants are primarily for one-off events and are not intended for recurrent funding (except for Category 2 events).
Applications close Monday 3 July.
For support through the application process, we will be hosting free information sessions at the Knox Civic Centre on:
Wednesday 31 May
1pm – 2.30pm
Monday 5 June
10am – 12pm
For more detail on information sessions and eligibility criteria, visit Knox Community Development Fund Grant or contact the Community Partnership Team on [email protected].
We look forward to receiving your applications!
