- Access For Pram and Mobility Device Users
Everyone should be able to access recreational facilities and services with ease. The Knox Mobility and Access Plan focuses on developing a 10-year strategy that will guide capital works investment to improve access for people with restricted mobility. The plan specifically focuses on improving Knox’s accessible parking bays, path networks (footpath and shared path) and associated infrastructure within public spaces.
Whether you are parent with a pram, someone who uses a mobility aid device, has a mental disability that reduces mobility or a carer of someone that has limited mobility, we want to hear from you!
Provide feedback or find out more on our Have Your Say website by 28 May.
OR
Attend a Community Workshop on Tuesday 21 May from 10am – 12pm at Knox Council Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Hwy, Wantirna South.
The purpose of the workshop is to understand how people using mobility devices move around Knox, what your challenges are, and what suggested changes and additions could be made to make your journeys easier and more pleasant. Refreshments and food will be available on the day and an opportunity will be available after the session for you to mingle with other participants.
