- New Food and Garden Bin Service Now In Place
From this week, your food and garden bin (green lid) will be collected weekly and your household rubbish bin (yellow lid) will be collected fortnightly. There is no change to your collection day and your recycling and bundled green waste collections remain unchanged with fortnightly collections.
If you are uncertain about which bins to put out, you can use our new online Find my bin days tool. Simply add in your address to check which bins will be collected for the week. Or refer to the 2023/24 calendar that was included in the information pack with your kitchen caddy.
We have a range of information sessions and pop-ups running across Knox throughout July. If you have questions about the changes to your bin service come along to find out more.
Thu 20 July | Mountain High Shopping Centre pop-up | 10 am -- 12 pm | |
Tue 25 July | Knox Express Library | 10 am – 12 pm | Phone 9800 6470 |
Sat 29 July | Boronia Mall pop-up | 10 am – 12 pm |
