- Plant a Veg At Coonara House
Get your kids involved at Coonara House these school holidays for a veggie planting workshop run by Knox City Council in partnership with Bunnings Scoresby on Thursday 21 April, 10.00 - 11.30am.
This is a great way for kids to get creative and learn about growing their own veggies!
In this workshop they will:
- Put their creative hat on and decorate their own planter box to take their plants home in
- Learn about planting and looking after their own veggies. They will get to choose their favourite veggies or herbs to plant and take home!
- End the session with some yummy snacks that use some of the veggies they have just planted
Where: Coonara Community House, 22 Willow Road, Upper Ferntree Gully 3156
When: Thursday April 21 from 10 – 11:30am
While free, bookings are essential. To secure your spot, register now
