- Proposed New Lights For Outdoor Netball Courts
We are upgrading the lighting at Knox Regional Netball Centre, and would like your input.
There is a growing demand for evening court usage at the netball centre, so we are proposing to install new energy-efficient LED lighting and associated infrastructure (cabling, poles, etc).
Courts 13, 14, 15 and 16 would receive the lighting upgrades.
The new lighting will:
- meet Australian Standards
- ensure a sufficient number of floodlit facilities
- help accommodate the training needs of many netball players and netball clubs in the community.
This project is planned for delivery in 2022-2023.
We are also seeking co-funding for this project from the Victorian State Government, via its Local Sports Infrastructure Fund.
These proposed works follow on from other recent upgrades to netball facilities within Knox, including the major facility upgrade at the Centre and court upgrades at Fairpark Reserve. The investment reflects our ongoing commitment to improve sporting facilities for the community.
We would like your feedback on the proposed lighting upgrades at Knox Regional Netball Centre. Please have your say by Sunday 31 July 2022.
