- Waste Services Over The Holiday Period
Your household rubbish, recycling and food and garden bin collection services will operate as usual over the Christmas holiday period, including public holidays.
You can check which day your rubbish is being collected by using the Find my bin days search tool
Please note that no hard rubbish will be collected between Monday 25 December and Monday 1 January 2024.
The last hard rubbish collection day (for already booked hard rubbish) for 2023 will be Friday 22 December.
To book a hard rubbish collection in the new year, please complete our online form, which will open again on Thursday 21 December 2023. Collections will resume on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Please note that missed bin collections, damaged or stolen bins are not actioned on public holidays.
