- Weekend and Evening Maternal and Child Health Appointments
Families can now book evening and Saturday maternal and child health appointments.
To make an appointment contact [email protected] or call 9298 8741 between 9am – 12:30pm Monday to Friday.
Maternal and Child Health appointments are free and are important to make sure your child is growing, learning and developing well.
We provide a schedule of standard appointments for all children from birth to school age. You can view the ages for the standard appointments here. If you have questions or concerns between standard appointments you are able to make an additional appointment at any time.
Our maternal and child health nurses can provide you with information and support about breastfeeding, introducing solids, post natal care for mothers including mental health, sleep and settling, kindergarten, immunisations and play. They also help identify when further assessment, intervention or support is needed.
If you need support outside of hours you can also contact the 24 hour Maternal and Child Health Line on 13 22 29.
Find out more about our maternal and child health services here.
