- Become a Meals On Wheels Volunteer
Apply now to join our team of Meals on Wheels volunteers.
Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver ready-made meals to older Knox residents each morning of the week. You can specify which day you are available and how often you would like to volunteer.
There are approx. 10-15 deliveries on a delivery round. People who volunteer one day a week get to know the delivery route and clients as it is normally the same each week.
We are also looking for casual drivers to cover shifts when other volunteers are unavailable.
Training will be provided.
Volunteers pick up meals each morning from Knox City Council in Wantirna South.
Meals on Wheels volunteers need a car, licence and to be fully vaccinated or have a valid medical exemption.
You’ll be joining a team of almost 70 wonderful volunteers who range in age from 18-82. So whether you are a uni student, a retiree or someone in between, you are sure to fit in!
