- Pets In The Park
Enjoy a fun day out with your family, friends and special pets at Pets in the Park. This free event is on Sunday 21 April at the new location of Knox Park, Knoxfield.
This popular event is back this year, and we are inviting pet owners and animal lovers along.
If you are planning to bring your pets, please ensure they are under control and safely secured at all times.
We have an exciting program with free entertainment and activities including exciting displays and demonstrations, kids’ rides and activities, a pet photo booth, pet parade, stage entertainment, face painting and craft activities.
Pet parade
Has your pet got talent? Enter them in the Pet Parade. Judges will be awarding pets for Best Trick and Best Dressed. Sign up at Council’s marquee up to 15 minutes before the competition starts at 12.15pm.

Demonstration Arena
Knox Obedience Dog Club proudly presents the Demonstration Arena, a showcase of canine expertise and excitement!
Throughout the day, our arena will be abuzz with activity:
- Ring Craft Work: Witness the precision and skill of our trainers as they demonstrate ring craft techniques, essential for success in competitive dog shows.
- Demonstration Teams: Be amazed by the talent and discipline of our first demonstration team, showcasing their obedience and agility.
- Knox Scent Works: Discover the fascinating world of scent work as our experts demonstrate how dogs use their incredible sense of smell to solve challenges and find hidden treasures.
- Dog Obstacle Course: Calling all pet enthusiasts! Get hands-on experience as you and your furry friend navigate our exciting obstacle course. From tunnels to hurdles, it's a fun-filled activity for dogs and their owners alike.
Other event highlights
Check out over 50 exhibitors featuring an exciting range of gourmet pet food, accessories, toys, grooming, pet care and dog training.
Experience tasty food and treats from a variety of food trucks. Delicious food and drink options include Mexican and Malaysian street food, specialty coffee, chips, sweets and dessert.
