- Driving Female Participation In Knox
Female participation at our local sporting clubs is paramount - not only for the club, but for the broader community.
To support, Knox will be hosting a free information session to provide local clubs and their affiliates the tools to promote female participation and drive the success of their female teams following recent changes to Council’s allocation policy, which requires all clubs to provide a female offering.
Within the session, you’ll hear from local clubs with experienced success in building female sporting programs, have the chance to ask questions, gain knowledge and build confidence to support development at your own club.
Clubs will also hear from special guest speaker, Dr Ruth Jeanes, Associate Professor and Sociologist at Monash University, on her research in this area.
Join us on Wednesday 12 October at the Knox City Civic Centre from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm and help make a positive impact to your local sporting community.
To find out more, visit Education and Development for Clubs in Knox or contact Dayna Nicholas on [email protected] or 9298 8208.
