- Exciting Upgrades Proposed For Tormore Reserve
Tormore Reserve pavilion is set to undergo a transformation that will breathe new life into the beloved sporting facility.
The existing Masterplan, adopted by Council in 2016, will see a significant revamp of the pavilion, making it a modern and inclusive hub for sports and community activities.
The current pavilion, constructed in 1976, is now deemed inadequate to meet the needs of the growing community. With limited facilities, a major overhaul was in order.
Following advocacy from Boronia Hawks Football/Netball and Boronia Cricket Clubs, this project has received $1.2m via a State Government funding grant. Federal Government funding of $5m is currently in the application process. If successful, a total budget of $6.2M will be received over a three-year period for the delivery of this project.
No Council rates are being contributed.
The proposed redevelopment will provide improved amenities for the existing clubs and includes a refurbishment of the existing pavilion with an addition of a second storey - and we want to ensure we've got it right.
Alternatively, you’re invited to attend one of our drop-in sessions held at the reserve on:
- Tuesday 12 September at 5:30pm – 6:30pm

We look forward to receiving your feedback!
