- Join Our Youth Advisory Committee
Applications are currently open for young people who have a connection to Knox to join our 2025 Youth Advisory Committee.
The Youth Advisory Committee provides a great opportunity for young people to have their say in a meaningful way, gain confidence in participating in civic / community engagement processes, learn about Council and issues facing the local community and meet other young people from Knox.
It is also a great way to build on your leadership skills and help shape the future for young people in Knox.
You can apply to be part of the 2025 committee if you are between the ages of 12-25, have an interest in youth affairs and have a connection to Knox (for example you live, work or study here).
As a Youth Advisory Committee member you will:
- Share your ideas for your local community
- Have your say about local issues that affect young people
- Develop your skills and experience
- Meet other young people in Knox
- Have a volunteer role that you can put on your CV
Meetings are held monthly and will commence in February 2025.
Expressions of interest close Wednesday 20 November 2024.
