Knox Skate & BMX Park expansion planning begins

In September 2018, Council endorsed the Gilbert Park Masterplan and agreed to a staged delivery in order to update and enhance the reserve.  

As part of the next stage, we are planning an extension to the existing Knox Skate & BMX Park (located at Gilbert Park), to include lighting, a picnic shelter, path links and a beginner / junior rider-based design.  

To help develop this, we want to hear from you. 

We invite you to share your thoughts and ideas with us below by Monday 12 December 2022, to help determine improvements to the design as we plan.

Additionally, we will be hosting two in-person, pre-design consultation workshops at Gilbert Park on Wednesday 23 November at the Youth Pavilion of the reserve, allowing us the opportunity to connect in person:  

  • Session 1 - 4:00pm – 5:00pm 

  • Session 2 - 6:00pm – 7:00pm
