- Pooches To Put Best Paw Forward
Much loved by the community, Wantirna Reserve is a hub of diverse recreational activities, and will now be home to Knox’s latest agility dog park and playground.
The project is part of the Wantirna Reserve Masterplan, endorsed by Council in March this year. Phase one implementation has begun, and we’re inviting you to share your feedback with us on the proposed design of the dog park and playground via Have Your Say before Friday 23 August 2024.
Aimed to create a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment where families, children and dog owners can come together and enjoy the outdoors, the new agility dog park and upgraded playground have been carefully designed to foster a sense of community, promote physical activity, and enhance the overall recreational experience at Wantirna Reserve.
Plans also include upgrading the existing car park near the playground, ensuring accessible parking.
This project is part of the Victorian Government’s New and Upgraded Dog Parks Program
