- Raise Your Hand To Help Shape Our Next Four Years
Are you passionate about the future of our community? Put your hand up to help shape our priorities for the next four years.
We are seeking expressions of interest from people who live, work or own a business in Knox who wish to be part of a randomly selected community panel of approximately 45 people.
The panel will work collaboratively with Council to develop draft recommendations for the next Council and Health and Wellbeing Plan.
The plan is our promise to the Knox community. It sets out what we will do to respond to changing needs and will be shaped by our aspirations, needs, values and priorities, and inform long term financial planning.
You don’t need any prior knowledge to take part. All you need is an open mind, want to work with others and consider the information provided.
To be selected, you’ll need to be able to attend all four-panel sessions:
Wednesday 1st May 2024, 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Saturday 4th May 2024, 11:00am to 3:00pm
Saturday 18th May 2024, 11:00am to 3:00pm
The fourth session will be held in early 2025 with the new Councillors, date to be confirmed.
Panel members will be selected via a random selection process by our independent consultants, Capire Consulting Group. The selection process will seek to form a panel that reflects the diversity of the Knox community.
You’ll receive a total of $300 in Coles vouchers for participating.
