Get on board the Knox Community Shopping Bus

The community shopping bus offers Knox residents 65 years and over to go shopping and be socially active with people living in their neighbourhood.

The fortnightly service provides door to door, affordable, comfortable and accessible bus rides to Westfield Knox.

Who is eligible to join:

  • Knox residents 65 years andover with independent mobility.
  • Must be self-dependent or attend with a recognised carer.
  • Commitment to be ready at the pick-up time.
  • Commitment to the fortnightly schedule.


Further information:

  • Days: Mondays to Fridays (Particular day in relevant area)
  • Pick up times: 9.30 am or 10.30 am
  • Pick up location: from the road in front of your residence (if bus friendly) or nearest point of convenience.
  • Return time: 12.30 pm or 1.30 pm from the drop off point
  • Cost: $3.5 one way, $7 round trip.
