About the Plan
Knox City Council manages a range of local playgrounds and play equipment.
We manage 220+ public playgrounds, as well as a further 71 playgrounds located in early years facilities.
The Plan focuses on operational issues required to manage this existing framework, as well as its future state.
It also supports the draft Play Space Plan, which sets the strategic direction for play in Knox.
The PAMP assesses the performance of playground assets, as well as:
- playground management practices
- playground expenditure and service standards
- lifecycle costs
- risk management into the future, and
- recommends improvements to meet customer expectations.
