About the Program
The Capital Works Program allows community groups to make project requests to Knox City Council.
Capital Works provides and upgrades Council-owned infrastructure. The program can also include new projects like:
- leisure and recreation facilities
- roads
- paths
- drains
- parks
- buildings
- car parks
- community facilities.
How the Program works
Individual Knox City Council departments organise different capital works for their areas.
Requests for new or upgrade works can be made to them throughout the year.
After an application is made, the relevant program coordinator assesses them against any planned works. For example, a request by a club for a sporting pavilion extension would be directed to and assessed by the Youth, Leisure & Cultural Services department.
The applicant is contacted after this.
Submit a project for the Program
To discuss the Capital Works Program, contact the Council department that will manage your application.
Both groups and individuals can make an application.
Requests for new or upgrade works can be made throughout the year.
