The Asset Plan provides strategic direction on how Council cost-effectively manages our community’s assets to meet evolving needs.
Council manages $1.237 billion worth of community assets (excluding land value), including:
- buildings
- roads and footpaths
- sporting facilities
- drainage systems
- bushland
- playgrounds
The Asset Plan guides how Council prioritises and manages community assets over a 10-year period. It sets out principles for using, maintaining, building, acquiring, and disposing of infrastructure assets.
Council developed this plan alongside the Community and Financial Plans to ensure we have the right resources to deliver initiatives set out in the Council Plan 2021–2025 and meet community aspirations.
Community engagement on the draft plan
We are developing a new Asset Plan and inviting your feedback.
Share your thoughts on how Council should manage community assets worth $1.88 billion over the next 10 years.
We have a budget of $689.69 million to manage community assets for the next 10 years, and we developed the draft Asset Plan to guide how we do this.
Your feedback is invited on the draft plan before we finalise it. This is also your chance to identify opportunities and issues that have not been captured.
Feedback closes 1 August 2025.
