The Outer East YSPN is a free network for people who work with young people aged 10 to 25 in Melbourne’s outer east. It offers networking and professional learning opportunities for not-for-profit and public sector organisations, including schools and education providers.
The network is run in partnership with Maroondah, Knox and Yarra Ranges Councils.
What the network does
- Helps youth service providers connect and work together.
- Supports members to share information, resources and best practices.
- Provides professional development to build skills and knowledge.
- Contributes to the ConnectUs online directory of youth services in Outer East Melbourne.

Network meetings
The Outer East YSPN holds four meetings per year. Each meeting focuses on a key topic and includes professional development and networking.
2025 meeting dates
- Thursday 20 February - Yarra Ranges Civic Centre, Lilydale
- Tuesday 20 May - Knox Youth Hive, Wantirna South
- Wednesday 20 August - Realm Building, Ringwood
- Thursday 6 November - Yarra Ranges Civic Centre, Lilydale
Meetings run from 9 am to 11.30 am. The location rotates between the three councils.
