Food business registration fees and charges

Fees and charges apply when you register your food business under the Food Act 1984.

About fees and charges

Food Act registration fees are paid on an annual basis from 1 January to 31 December.

Fees can be applied on a half year pro-rata basis depending on when your application and payment are received.

All Food Act registrations are valid until 31 December regardless of when you apply during the year.

We will send you a renewal notice towards the end of the year. If you continue to operate into the following year, you have to pay the full 12 months registration fee.
